Recently OSSSC conducted RI (Revenue Inspector) exam 2021 in all over Odisha. Recruitment for OSSSC Revenue Inspector was released in June, 2021 and the exam was held on 29 Aug 2021.
Although this is a contractual government job in Odisha state, but more than 3 lakh candidates filled up application form for 586 post vacancies.

OSSSC RI Exam Details & Exam Pattern
Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission or simply OSSSC conducts RI exam in Odisha. RI stands for Revenue Inspector and it’s a government job.
Revenue Inspector (RI) job is Group- B official post but contractual based in Odisha. If you are a graduate of any subject then you are eligible for this exam.
Everyone has a dream to get a government job and live life in a settled manner. So this Revenue Inspector or RI job has been preferred by most candidates.

There will be 2 tests for OSSSC RI exam 2021.
- Written Test (400 Marks)
- Computer Skills Test (50 Marks)
1) Written Test
This is phase-1 of OSSSC RI exam. This written test has 2 papers and each paper carry 100 questions. Total mark of written test for OSSSC RI exam is 400.
The test will be conducted through offline and candidates need to answer on OMR sheets.
For each correct answer 2 marks will be awarded and 0.5 mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt. No marks will be awarded or deducted for not-attempted questions.

- 2 papers will be conducted in two shifts. Each shift is of 200 marks.
- Total Mark- 400
- Total number of questions- 200 (100 per each paper).
- Total exam time- 4 hours (2hours per paper). 1-2 hours time gap between paper 1 & paper 2.
- Each correct answer carry 2 marks and each wrong answer deduct 0.5 mark.
- If you can secure more or equal marks to minimum cut-off mark (caste basis), then you are eligible for Computer Skills Test exam.
